Outdoor Activities at Lighthouse Park
Hiking Trails
There are a variety of trails throughout Lighthouse Park with various types of terrain and levels of difficulty. It is recommended you wear appropriate hiking or walking shoes and dress accordingly for the weather. You can view a map of the Lighthouse Park trails here.
Lighthouse Viewpoint
A short 10 minute walk from the parking lot will bring you to the Lighthouse Viewpoint. It’s all uphill coming back so prepare for a brisk hike up steep terrain when you return. Picnics in the Park
The bluffs on the waterfront and the beaches make for great picnic locations. Bring a blanket to sit on and relax in the beautiful surroundings. Please ensure that you leave with what you brought and help to keep Lighthouse Park clean.
Dog Walking in Lighthouse Park
Dog walking in Lighthouse Park is very popular among local West Vancouver residents. Please take note of signs to ensure that dogs are permitted on the trails. There are garbage bins throughout the park, please cleanup after your dog and dispose of any waste in these bins.
Outdoor Amphitheatre
There is a grassy clearing in the middle of the park with an outdoor amphitheatre. It is open air with no cover and very rustic but it’s a great spot to have some imaginative fun at a family gathering.
Rock Climbing
